Dr. Patricia K. Bradley inducted as honorary member of Chi Eta Phi

In July 2015, Dr. Patricia K. Bradley (center) was inducted as an honorary member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. With her are Elcedo L. Bradley, EdD, RN, PHN (left), National President , and Constance H. Sumner, MSN, CMSRN, OCN, National Dean of Membership.

Associate Professor Patricia K. Bradley, PhD, RN, FAAN, was inducted as an honorary member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. in recognition of her service to humanity, which reflects the motto of the sorority. The ceremony was held July 24, 2015 in Indianapolis during Chi Eta Phi鈥檚 63rd Boul茅. She was also a podium presenter at the meeting, sharing her work 鈥淎frican American Breast Cancer Survivor: From Patient to Survivor.鈥

Dr. Bradley received her honor from National President Elcedo L. Bradley, EdD, RN, PHN and National Dean of Membership Constance H. Sumner, MSN, CMSRN, OCN.

A psychiatric-mental health nursing specialist, Dr. Bradley has a career-long commitment to her research related to breast cancer, particularly contributing to the body of scientific knowledge surrounding African American Breast Cancer Survivors (AABCS).  She has been affiliated with Chi Eta Phi over many years, presenting educational sessions at national and regional meetings. Additionally, she was instrumental in the April 2006 chartering of Theta Delta Beta Chapter at the College of Nursing for which she has served as a co-faculty advisor since its inception.
