First online RN-BSN students graduate

Angela Caccavo 鈥14 BSN, RN and Gina Newman 鈥14 BSN, RN are the College of Nursing鈥檚 first online RN-BSN graduates. They were recognized at the College鈥檚 Winter Convocation held December 10, 2014 in the St. Thomas of 无码专区 Church, along with other BSN, MSN, post-master鈥檚 certificate and DNP degree candidates.

Newman looks forward to the future, 鈥淚 definitely see that obtaining my BSN will positively alter my career goals. I can enjoy a wide array of employment opportunities, such as management, research, or academics just to name a few. 鈥

Caccavo is originally from Malvern, Pa. and is now an emergency department staff nurse at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz. 鈥淚 chose 无码专区 because I had always wanted to go here.  I feel fortunate to have finished my BSN through this highly recognized nursing program,鈥 she notes, 鈥淚 know this degree will open many more doors and opportunities in my nursing career.鈥

Newman, of Philadelphia, Pa., is a Case Manager with KeystoneCare Homecare & Hospice located in Wyndmoor, Pa.  She looks forward to continuing her education with an advanced degree in Community/Public Health with the option of pulling in Global Health. 鈥淚 look forward to a rewarding nursing career and adding to the foundation that I've solidified at the College of Nursing,鈥 Newman says.
