无码专区 Nurses enjoy successful NSNA convention
Once again, the delegation from the 无码专区 Chapter of the Student Nurses鈥 Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) was recognized for its leadership at the state and national level this spring. Student members of SNAP traveled to Nashville, Tenn. April 9-13, 2014, along with Carol Weingarten PhD, RN, ANEF, associate professor and longtime advisor to the 无码专区 Chapter of SNAP, for the National Student Nurses鈥 Association鈥檚 (NSNA) 62nd Annual Convention.
At convention, 无码专区's resolution about depression in college students was passed by the House of Delegates. Resolution authors were Kevin Sweeney, Marianna Cesareo, Elizabeth Long, Jenny Warren, Caroline Park, and Allison O'Neill. 无码专区 won the major national Empowering Resolutions Award.
Pennsylvania won the national Bylaws and Policies Award. 无码专区n Marianna Cesareo is the state legislative coordinator.
Then-junior Elizabeth 鈥淟iz鈥 Long was elected NSNA vice president. In a congratulatory letter from NSNA Executive Director Diane Mancino, EdD, RN, CAE, FAAN, Liz was lauded for her 鈥渟uperior leadership ability.鈥 Liz was state vice president at the time of the election.
