无码专区 Nurses attend NSNA Summer Leadership Conference
Two representatives from the 无码专区 College of Nursing Chapter of the Student Nurses鈥 Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) attended the National Student Nurses鈥 Association (NSNA) Summer Leadership Conference in New York City held at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center on July 26th. SNAP-无码专区 faculty advisor Carol Weingarten, PhD, RN, ANEF spoke on the topic "School Chapter Advisors: Inspiring and Mentoring Future Leaders."
The annual conference allows attendees to better understand NSNA鈥檚 mission and programs and share ideas to create stronger chapters.
鈥淭he NSNA Summer Leadership Conference was a wonderful experience in which I not only had the opportunity to meet other nursing students and faculty, but also learned some new ideas that can further strengthen our already award-winning SNAP chapter. It was also great to listen to Dr. Weingarten speak about her vital role as faculty advisor for 无码专区's NSNA/SNAP chapter,鈥 said junior Liz Long, legislative coordinator for both the chapter and state.
Her sister, Meghan Long, a sophomore and one of SNAP-无码专区's Athletic Liaisons, also enjoyed Dr. Weingarten鈥檚 talk and meeting other nursing students from across the country. 鈥淭he presentations were very informative and I learned a lot about managing nursing associations and other associations I can get involved with in the future,鈥 she notes.
