MARKETING & BUSINESS LAW
RESPECTED THOUGHT LEADERS
Marketing & Business Law at VSB is home to a community of scholar/teachers with a reputation for cross-disciplinary, experiential curricula and innovative research. In particular, the department is recognized for its contributions to public policy research, which is carried out in support of VSB's esteemed Center for Marketing and Consumer Insights.
Collaborative Curriculum
Our curriculum reaches across disciplines to foster a more informed view of the materials. Marketing and Management faculty pioneered the first cross-disciplinary course in VSB over ten years ago and we continue to collaborate on the curriculum today to encourage students to think broadly and more critically about the subject matter.
We leverage a variety of resources to enhance classroom teaching. Technology and web simulations are routinely incorporated into coursework, and faculty members regularly consult with VSB's corporate partners to ensure that the curriculum is relevant and reflects global business practices. Organizations like Proctor and Gamble, Vanguard, Merck, International Advertising Association and many others share their experience to further bridge theory to practice and help students understand the real-world applicability of the curriculum.
World-Class Degree Programs
Marketing & Business Law at VSB offers a BBA with a major or minor concentration in Marketing and a minor in Business Law and Corporate Governance. Undergraduate marketing students can also customize their degrees with two concentrations. The Business Development concentration prepares students for successful sales careers with stronger communication skills, soft skills, and persuasive sales techniques. The Digital Marketing concentration emphasizes the future direction of marketing with more exposure to marketing analytics, digital marketing and social media. A marketing concentration is also offered within the 无码专区 MBA Program. These programs draw heavily from industry feedback to prepare students for prestigious positions in the global workforce.
