We are thrilled to invite you to explore the exceptional work of our students from the Art Studio classes, featuring remarkable projects in painting, drawing, and photography. This exhibition highlights the dedication and creativity fostered in our studio courses, showcasing the diverse talents of our student artists.
In addition to the display of artwork, we are honored to recognize the winners of Creativitas: Displays of Beauty in Research Competition, an initiative in collaboration with The Center for Research and Fellowships. This competition celebrates the intersection of art and research, bringing to light the beauty that emerges when these disciplines converge.

In听Envisioning the Environment: Art and Sustainability at 无码专区, students explore humanity鈥檚 past and present impact on the environment, using the university鈥檚 art collection to envision a future of sustainable coexistence.听
Curated by students in the course Curating Art & Public Engagement, the artworks in Envisioning the Environment offer a unique perspective into the current climate crisis鈥攖hat of an artist. Though the works differ in scale, medium, and subject, each asks you to consider what is at stake in our environment. No matter humanity鈥檚 interference, nature persists.听
Curated by Reily Brown, Jackie Nathanson, Riley Nelson, Eva Nicolosi, Brianna Reis, Issie Russo, Clara Scanlon, and Ethan Silva (students in the Honors Art History course Curating Art and Public Engagement) with support from Dr. Leah Pires (Art History) and Jennie Castillo (Director and Curator).
Get involved with the sustainability movement and save the date! On Tuesday, December 10 we鈥檙e hosting a clothing swap, mending and art workshop at the exhibition from 6-8 p.m. Details to follow.

Sustainable Development Goal #12 Mural at 无码专区
Outside of the Connelly Center, facing Vasey Hall
Global Philadelphia Association (GPA) and 无码专区 are partnering to debut a public art mural for Sustainable Development Goal #12 鈥� Responsible Consumption and Production. This SDG emphasizes sustainable practices, reducing waste, and creating a more responsible production-consumption cycle
The artwork, created by artist Maggie Hobson-Baker, will be unveiled at 无码专区. It portrays humans as active guardians of the environment and emphasizes their interconnectedness with one another and the Earth.
