无码专区 Professor Robert Caverly, PhD, Electrical and Computer Engineering, was recently named editor-in-chief of the IEEE Microwave Magazine. The publication has a circulation of approximately 10,000 and is part of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society's (MTT-S) suite of publications. The IEEE Microwave Magazine publishes overview, survey, tutorial and review articles focused on the needs of the wireless, RF and microwave engineer. Dr. Caverly will serve in this role for a three-year term ending in 2020.
A 无码专区 College of Engineering faculty member since 1997, Dr. Caverly's research interests focus on the characterization of semiconductor devices such as PIN diodes and FETs in the microwave and RF control environment. He teaches courses in Engineering Electromagnetics and Microwave Theory and Techniques at both the undergraduate and graduate level, has published more than 100 journal and conference papers, and is the author of two books, Microwave and RF Semiconductor Control Device Modeling (2016) and (2006) from Artech House. A Fellow of the IEEE, from 2014-2016, Dr. Caverly traveled the world as a Distinguished Microwave Lecturer, an IEEE MTT-S appointment for those recognized as experts in their fields. With his lecture on 鈥淩F Aspects of Magnetic Resonance Imaging,鈥 Dr. Caverly was among a select few to be invited to this prestigious and key service for the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society.
