Jonathan has also received recognition for related research that he conducted with Dr. Park. By examining traffic data resources obtained in greater Philadelphia, they have analyzed congestion contribution factors to support the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission鈥檚 (DVRPC) long-term transportation planning goals and objectives. This research was presented at conferences including the Transportation Research Annual Board Meeting and the International Symposium on Visualization in Transportation. Furthermore, their work has been accepted for publication in Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board. Jonathan鈥檚 research is part of a collaborative effort with DVRPC, demonstrating the successful partnership of academia and the real-world engineering industry.
