College Honors Senior Engineering Students at 37th Annual Dean鈥檚 Awards Dinner
More than 60 senior engineering students accepted accolades for academic excellence and exceptional commitment to service from the College of Engineering community at the 37th annual Dean鈥檚 Awards Dinner on April 19 at Overbrook Country Club. Awards presented included the Dean鈥檚 Award for Academic Excellence and the Dean鈥檚 Award for Meritorious Service.
The Dean鈥檚 Award for Academic Excellence, which is given by Dr. Gary Gabriele, Drosdick Endowed Dean of Engineering, recognizes academically outstanding senior engineering students with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5. Recipients of the Dean鈥檚 Award for Meritorious Service, many of whom are nominated by fellow students, faculty, staff, or administrators, are recognized for their commitment to extra-curricular and/or service activities within the College.
