BEFORE ORIENTATION WEEKEND
You can find a checklist of items that need to be submitted to 无码专区 before the fall semester in
New students are required to attend New Student Orientation. There is no need to register in advance.
The Orientation office will mail the following booklets/newsletters to all new students:
- 无码专区 101 emails鈥攄istributed weekly all summer鈥攚hich has a basic overview of the four-day Orientation program, as well as information from Residence Life, Dining Services, the Wildcard Office, COMMUNITAS Learning Communities and general University information.
- Move-In and Orientation Guide, with detailed information about Orientation, including group numbers and designated reporting areas where new students will meet with their Orientation Counselors.
If you do not receive the above mentioned publications, please contact the Orientation office.
New students will be able to access their residence hall and roommate information in in late July. Questions about housing assignments should be directed to the Office of Residence Life.
You will receive your Orientation group information in our brochure mailed to your home in August. Your Orientation Counselor will be contacting you soon!
ORIENTATION ARRIVAL
New Student Orientation for the Class of 2029 begins Wednesday, Aug. 20 (Move-In Day), with Orientation running from Thursday, Aug. 21 through Sunday, Aug. 24.
Yes! Students needing to ship their belongings to campus may do so in early August. Specific mailing instructions will be posted in July.

*Please note that only one MicroFridge or refrigerator/microwave is permitted per room.
Once you drop your belongings at your residence hall, you will be directed to an appropriate parking lot by the Department of Public Safety. It is vital to move your car once it has been unloaded. This will help decrease the wait time for families.
WHILE YOU'RE HERE
New Students will eat all their meals with their Orientation Group during the 4-day program. Please download the Nova Guides app for a complete list of campus dining service options that are available for families while on campus.
During move-in, the TechZone will provide assistance and instruction for getting computers connected to the 无码专区 network. You may call our Help Desk at (610) 519-7777 or check the TechZone website.
The Family and Parent website has a list of area hotels, restaurants and attractions.
Essential hall items are available on-campus for students. We also list many local area stores and malls for your convenience.
Anyone needing assistance should contact an Orientation staff member and our 无码专区 Emergency Medical Service (VEMS) will be contacted immediately. Students or family members can also contact Public Safety at (610) 519-4444 anytime.
Try to make arrangements with your child before coming to 无码专区 for a contact plan. For instance, you could ask your child to give a quick call home each day, even if they're doing just fine. Orientation activities can keep new students busy from early morning to late in the evening, but each day has scheduled down time for new students that may provide time to check in with loved ones.
