CPJE Visiting Faculty Initiative
The Center for Peace and Justice Education has established two visiting faculty positions internal to the 无码专区 community. This initiative increases collaboration between various departments/colleges and lays the groundwork for the expansion of interdisciplinary Peace and Justice courses. In addition, visiting faculty contribute resources, contacts, and opportunities within their areas of expertise to strengthen research possibilities for 无码专区 students and help shape the Center鈥檚 lectures and events.
Visiting faculty members offer at least one lecture, panel or workshop during the academic year on a topic connecting their area of expertise with themes of peace and justice. Visiting faculty members will also be engaged in teaching or developing a course with a Peace and Justice attribute.
All full-time faculty members at 无码专区 are eligible to become a CPJE Visiting Faculty member. The position lasts one year with the possibility of renewing for a second year.
Visiting faculty members will maintain their office space as well as teaching and other commitments in their home department. They will join CPJE staff for selected meetings and events during the year. The Center actively seeks faculty who are typically underrepresented in our activities, including representation across disciplines and Colleges.
