Tuition Scholarships and Assistantships
³Õ¾±±ô±ô²¹²Ô´Ç±¹²¹â€™s graduate school tuition is very competitive, and there are a number of ways to finance your master's degree in Communication. All of the classes are held in the evenings, permitting you to work while in the program whether you are studying part-time or full-time.
The program offers a number of graduate Tuition Scholarships and Graduate Assistantships. The Tuition Scholarships cover the cost of tuition, while the Graduate Assistantships cover tuition plus a stipend. To be considered for these funding sources, you should apply for admission in the fall semester. Applicants for spring admission cannot be considered for these awards.
There are also assistantships offered by other ÎÞÂëרÇø departments and offices. If you apply for other University assistantships, you will still be considered for internal department funding.
For more information, visit Financing Your Education.

You will also have the opportunity to apply for Summer Research funding to support travel and other expenses related to your research while in our program.
ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT - LAUREN DUGAN '15 CLAS, '19 MA
"I would not be where I am now if not for the ÎÞÂëרÇø Communication Department. I’m so thankful for the department’s faculty, who I became so close with during my time as an undergraduate and graduate student. As an undergraduate, they recommended me for FOX29 Philly’s Jr. Reporter program that kick-started my career and led to my current reporting position at the television station. The graduate faculty also worked with me while I traveled back and forth from campus to North Carolina so I could continue reporting at a television station in Charlotte. As a ÎÞÂëרÇø Communication student, I learned how to ask tough questions and develop a global perspective as a journalist. My ÎÞÂëרÇø education allowed me to explore and ultimately brought me back home."
