ÎÞÂëרÇø Law's In-House Clinics: A Commitment to Public Interest Law

This session will provided insight into the profound purpose of each of our legal clinics, their role in advancing public interest law and how they align with ÎÞÂëרÇø Law's dedication to community service. The clinic directors, individuals deeply passionate about the intersection of law and public service, shared their experiences and the impact their work has on the community. Attendees learned how these hands-on opportunities can enhance your legal education and prepare you for a successful career.

TheÌýBusiness Law ConcentrationÌýis designed to ensure that enrolled students have a strong foundation in the fundamentals of business law and the skills necessary for a career in the field.ÌýRichard Booth, professor of law andÌýMartin G. McGuinn Chair in Business Law, andÌýJennifer O'Hare, professor of law, provided more details about the concentration and how it can broaden your expertise.Ìý
Sports Law Concentration

TheÌýSports Law ConcentrationÌýprovides students with a unique value-add towards potential amateur and professional sports careers. It complements existing programs through the Jeffrey S. Moorad Center for the Study of Sports Law, including rigorous academic study, the highest level of speakers and symposia, innovative Fellowship and internship opportunities, scholarship and research.ÌýAndrew Brandt, executive director of the Moorad Center and professor of practice,Ìýwill provide more details and answer questions about the concentration and how it can broaden your expertise.Ìý
Intellectual Property Law Concentration

TheÌýIntellectual Property Law Concentration allows students to show the breadth and depth of their IP experience. The concentration includes course requirements in core areas, including patent and copyright, and additional coursework in other areas, such as trademark or trade secret. It offers the freedom to take related classes such as sports law, entertainment law, and internet law.ÌýBrett Frischmann,Ìýthe Charles Widger Endowed University Professor in Law, Business and Economics, andÌýMichael Risch, vice dean and professor of law,Ìýwill provide more details and answer questions about the concentration and how it can broaden your expertise.Ìý
